A Gerontologist

"As a consulting Geriatrician, the expertise that IPC has shown in fee-schedule monitoring and Medicare guidelines has proved invaluable. Their knowledge of secondary insurances has streamlined the entire co-insurance headache into a worry-free automation. I will continue to recommend IPC to my colleagues."

Below are some of the questions we are asked most frequently about our company and the services we offer.

How is my monthly billing fee calculated?
Your fee is based on a percentage of your practice’s monthly Net Receipts along with any other billing-related revenue such as PQRI. The percentage charged depends on your specialty (or subspecialty) and your payer mix. This "percentage-of-receipts" system means we don’t get paid unless you get paid.

How will my charges get to IPC?
You can transfer your documents using the method most convenient for you.
  • You can send them via courier, mail or fax.
  • You can scan and upload them via FTP.
  • Or we can download them via an HL7 from your EMR.

Can I connect in real time to my billing data? Can we schedule patients on your system?
Absolutely. Your office may connect through a secure VPN. We offer a robust scheduler that also incorporates insurance-card scanning, custom encounter forms and forms tailored specifically to your practice.

Do you help educate my staff to ensure I get paid properly?
We are committed to ongoing provider and staff education for all of our clients through our newsletter, our targeted "Go To Meeting" training and our one-to-one feedback. After all, the better you do, the better we do!

Who will do my billing?
Your billing will be handled by IPC's experienced, highly skilled medical billers who are based in our office in Grand Rapids, Michigan. None of your billing will be outsourced to workers offshore.

Is IPC HIPAA compliant?
Of course! Like you, we are mandated to be fully in compliance with HIPAA and other governmental regulations.
